BBC Radio 4's The 3rd Degree is coming to Chester this Friday!!



FREE places going fast to see students v staff quiz on campus

Who will you be cheering for this Friday?

Students will take on the lecturers that teach them when BBC Radio 4's battle of wits, The 3rd Degree is recorded on the Parkgate Road Campus in Chester, with quiz master Steve Punt (from TV's Mock the Week and Horrible Histories and one half of comedy duo Punt and Dennis).

Professor Howard Williams from History and Archaeology, Dr Eileen Pollard from English and Dr Helen Southall from Computer Science will be taking part opposite students Rebecca Thornton, Bjorn Ephgrave and Clayton Jones from those departments.

Alongside quick-fire general knowledge questions and some witty repartee, Steve will be putting specialist knowledge to the test and demonstrating what he knows about the University of Chester. Here is a link to previous episodes: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01d0q86

Doors open at 5.45pm for a 6pm start. Tickets are FREE, but numbers are limited, so they must be booked by emailing events@chester.ac.uk
