THE CRAIGLOCKHART WAR HOSPITAL: THE MEN, THE WOMEN AND THE HYDRA

Coming up next week from the Faculty Of Health And Social Care Historical Society, a talk by Alison O'Donnell.

From 1916 until 1919, Craiglockhart Hydropathic in Edinburgh was used as a War Hospital following the large increase in shell-shocked officers after the Battle of the Somme in 1916.  This presentation, which is a work in progress, will consider the men who were patients at Craiglockhart and  the nurses who cared for them.

This meeting is being supported by the Cheshire West branch of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN). The RCN is proud to be celebrating its centenary this year.
